Product Features
Polishing tapes are classified into two main types according to the characteristics of the abrasive layer surface. One is the uniform smooth type, and the other is the type with countless polygonal shapes. In our product line, the smooth type is called F-Type and the polygonal type is called T-Type or Pattern. T-Type is characterized by a depression in the center of the polygon and a groove adjacent to the polygon. These are called chip pockets and are effective in collecting and discharging polishing debris and other foreign matter generated during polishing. Pattern has a stable polishing property due to its regularly arranged shape, and the grooves between the patterns collect and discharge foreign matter such as polishing debris.
