Requirements for Oxide Materials

Oxide materials, represented by LT (LiTaO3) and LN (LiNbO3), are renowned as materials for high-frequency filters, exemplified by Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices. These materials have become indispensable components (devices) in communication equipment such as smartphones. Mipox is addressing the SAW device market by offering solutions for the "composite substrate technology" application, which can compensate for the drawbacks of conventional SAW devices (frequency drift due to temperature changes). This technology enables the realization of next-generation SAW devices with excellent temperature stability at a low cost. We create high-precision surfaces capable of withstanding bonding (integration) for various materials (substrates) to be bonded with LT and LN.
